The work on the latest release 'stratus' is finished!

We have added a new experimental airspace update to openAIP. This update includes DE, CH, CZ and LU airspaces. More will follow soon. Experienced pilots are invited to testfly them. Have fun!

We updated the airport elevation stored in the database today. A huge set of airports, formerly having "0 m" elevation, has been recalculated.

We have rolled out the second big upgrade to openAIP. This upgrade brings a lot of code improvements and a completely new airspace module which has been the main focus for this release.

We have rolled out a small update including navaid downloads and several bugfixes today. You can find the navaid files in the openAIP download area.

Authenticated users are allowed to create and add airport to the openAIP map.

In the last weeks we fixed several bugs and improved the stability of the openAIP backend.

We are re-opening openAIP for extended beta testing. We have an updated database and we hope you like the new details and features we have implemented.
